Autumn Vibes

Sweater: TJ Maxx
Shirt: TJ Maxx
Jeans: ℅ Vigoss
Shoes: Steve Madden
Sunnies: Ray-ban

Thanksgiving Eve -- the only night it's fun to go out in your hometown and see everyone you've ever known. I need a serious caffeine boost for this.

Today's look is simple fall basics; cable sweater, flannel, and leopard.

I can't get enough of these Vigoss Jeans -- they are super comfortable and the perfect dark hue. Also, this skinny leg is perfect for tucking into boots which is going to come in super handy this season.

This sweater is an oldie but goodie from TJ Maxx a few seasons ago, but I've linked a few similar ones below. I love the contrast of the flannel with the cream color and tying it all together with the leopard "neutral". These bright Ray-bans are great reminder of warm weather so I rely on them to help me survive the cooler New England temps that will last the next…six months.

Where are you headed tonight?!

Pattern Pairings

Top: TJ Maxx
Vest: TJ Maxx
Skirt: Nordstrom
Shoes: Necessary Clothing ($20!!)
Bag: Aldo
Watch: Michael Kors
Bracelet: Bibjewelry
Sunnies: Rayban

I wanted to experiment with this post combining everyday fall patterns with a few dressier details in a way that I normally wouldn't.

On top, I'm wearing one of my favorite purchases of the season so far -- this buffalo print vest. Scored this from TJ Maxx and while I can't find the exact version online, TJ Maxx has another one that's very similar. Also, this cute flannel was a TJ's find as well. I wanted to play around with combining these two patterns that I find myself wearing non stop through the fall also -- normally, I would wear them separately.

On the bottom I've got my favorite skater skirt accented with black tights to transition into a cooler season paired with my favorite gold toe pumps. A neutral bag with a solid shape really ties the look together.

Finally, I'm loving my new Spike bracelet from Bibjewelry -- especially since it was only $6 (SIX DOLLARS!!!)

What do you think of the combination? Love it or lose it?
