Sk8ter Skirt

Skirt: Nordstrom
Top: TJ Maxx (old)
Shoes: Coach

I can't get enough of this skater skirt I scooped up from Nordstrom during the anniversary sale this summer. It's a perfect transition piece -- the material is well suited for cooler weather while the length and style give you some flexibility to style for summer.

I've been experimenting with different pieces to pair with this skirt (very excited to start wearing it with black tights) and I love how it looks with this sheer, neutral blouse. This was also a perfect excuse to wear my amazing Coach pumps I found at TJ Maxx a few weeks ago. I can't get enough of this bow detail -- obsessed.

The shoes and skirt are the statement pieces that do all the talking for this sort of simple look. I'm so excited skater skirts are in at the moment because they are super flattering to my shorter frame - the flared skirt falls short making your legs look miles long, something that's not easy to accomplish with my 5'2 frame!

  1. Your skater skirt is so cute on you! I like how you've teamed it with a nude top and shoes. You look great!

  2. Thanks beauty! How cute are you? Loving that blue maxi skirt from your most recent post. And that phantom black bag is gorgeous!! Love your style! XO
