Jump To It

Jumpsuit: Collective Concepts via Le Tote
Blazer: H&M
Shoes: Alloy (old)
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff via TJ Maxx
Watch: Michael Kors
Earrings: Kate Spade
Bracelet: ℅ Lalo + Rae
Necklace: Gazel via Le Tote

I'm starting to explore spring trends and decided to go out on a limb and try out my first jumpsuit. I can't take credit for choosing the piece -- it came in my latest tote from Le Tote. I wasn't sure exactly how to style it and it certainly isn't ideal jumpsuit weather, but here's what I came up with.

I went with my trusty beige blazer and my favorite beige shoes from last summer. I feel like the shoes are equally as edgy as the jumpsuit and added the pop of color from my new Rebecca Minkoff. Now all I need is a great place to wear this look!

In warmer weather, I love this look without the blazer and look forward to trying it again after the floods of 2015 snow melts.

What do you think of this look? Any new trends you're waiting to try?

I'm finding myself so into graphic tees lately. I can't stop shopping them and when I saw this cutie at Forever21 on a casual pre dinner shopping jaunt with my gal Ryan, it was an easy purchase.

To keep things casual, I styled it with my reliable chambray top and black jeans with a pointed nude heel. I added a few gorg details like my magenta uber clutch and this fabulous statement necklace from Lola + Rae. I love a look like this that can go anywhere -- out to dinner, to work, out on daytime errands.

Remember, if you're as obsessed with this necklace and bracelet as I am, you can head over to Lalo + Rae and get 10% off your purchase with code TRENDY10. Show me all your purchases so I can be super jealous!

You know that feeling when you've been drowning in the snow and you can't wear any fun outfits and you're in a full force fashion rut? That's when you discover Le Tote. I got turned on to this website through a few other bloggers and I'm happy I did!

Le Tote lets you build a closet of items you love and they will send you 5 items at a time to style and wear as you please. If you want to keep something, just don't send it back. Otherwise, you can return the items whenever you want and receive another box.

It's safe to say I was not disappointed to find this gorgeous swing skirt in my first box. This is a trend I love, but have been afraid to dive into. Being shorter, I wasn't sure if I could pull off the look. I paired the skirt with a basic black V-neck and some girly bling.

This oversize stone bracelet from Lalo + Rae has quickly become a new favorite. It adds major glam to any look and goes with just about anything. I can't wait to style it with some upcoming spring looks! FYI, you can get 10% off your purchase at Lalo + Rae with discount code TRENDY10! Run!

Bring Your Manfriend to Blog Day

Sweater: H&M
Leggings: Forever21
Booties: Aldo
Bag: Kate Spade
Sunnies: Karen Walker
Watch: Michael Kors

Welcome to today's installation of letting your significant other choose your look. When I told Chris I was in a winter style rut and lacking inspiration for today's post he suggested I go for "something bright". I let him head into my closet to start pulling some pieces and here is what he came up with.

So to be fair, he didn't do a horrible job. He suggested these printed leggings (aka my Christmas leggings). Humoring him, I paired them with an oversize black sweater and black booties. Could be worse?

This beauteous Kate Spade bag was a Christmas gift from my Dad -- love the tassel detail. This whole post was styled by men!

I think the lesson of the story here is that when you can't beat the winter, just join it in your Christmas leggings. And don't question your manfriend's style choices when he's standing out in the blizzard to take photos for you.

Bargain Business

Sweater: Banana Republic Factory Store
Jeans: Vigoss
Heels: Steve Madden (on MAJOR sale at Nordstrom Rack now!)
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff via T.J. Maxx
Necklace: J Crew Factory
Sunnies: Rayban
Watch: Michael Kors

So many great pieces here, so many great deals.

To start, this beautiful Rebecca Minkoff is my latest T. J. Maxx victory. It's a past season color and style and now it's all mine at a beautifully discounted price. I was shopping with my friend Jen when I saw it and I told her I had to buy even it even though I didn't need it because if I didn't, someone else would immediately. I brought it home and started lovingly at it for days deciding if I should keep it or return. You can see where I landed on that one…

I scooped up this sweater from the Banana Republic Factory store a few weeks ago and it's still available online! I sized up to a medium to get the oversize effect.

Finally, these beautiful leopard pumps that I swooned over all fall (along with all my favorite bloggers) are on MAJOR sale at Nordstrom Rack -- I'm talking $30 for a $100 pair of shoes! RUN!

Spring Dreaming

Blazer: H&M
Shirt: Old Navy (men's size M)
Jeans: Vigoss
Shoes: Prabal Gurung for Target (old)
Watch: Michael Kors
Sunnies: Rayban
Bag: Louis Vuitton

As I ventured out into the falling snow to shoot these photos, all I could think about is how much I'm looking forward to spring. So at the last second, I swapped out my shoes for my favorite neon sandals to bring some warmth into this look.

Almost everything about this look is "boyfriend style" -- my jeans are looser than usual (aka they need to be washed) and the loose fit blazer and plaid give it that laid-back-but-really-i-styled-it-to-look-this-way vibe that I love.

Tip to pull off the boyfriend look: Shop your boyfriend's section (or even closet). This plaid shirt comes from the men's section at Old Navy (size medium). It looks pretty ridiculous without a top layer, but that's beside the point.

Also, if you've noticed that my hair looks absolutely amazing -- it's all thanks to Jessica at Jessica's Salon in Beverly!

Fur the Love of Winter

Top: T.J. Maxx (old)
Vest: Me Jane via T.J. Maxx
Jeans: Joe's via T.J. Maxx
Boots: Coach via T.J. Maxx
Sunnies: Rayban
Watch: Michael Kors
Bracelet: Bib Jewelry

It's freezing. It's cold, dark, and dreary always. I'm chilly. It continues.

Took a favorite staple look (which you may remember from this fall) and added some fur to keep up with the arctic temps.

This fun little look can really go anywhere - it's cute for running errands, but put together enough to head out to dinner or drinks. Personally, I used it to go shopping. As I've said before, it's great to have a few pieces that can really change a look so that you can repurpose the stuff you've already got in your closet.

I can't tell ya how much I look forward to repurposing some of my cold weather wear for the spring and summer…is it here yet?!

Happy friday!
